How Hormone Replacement Works

Testosterone, Estrogen, and Progesterone replacement therapy involves compounding bioidentical hormones in amounts that are specific to your lab values and reported symptoms.

Common questions about Hormone Replacement Therapy

How do I start?

Our program begins with a $249 initial appointment that includes comprehensive labs, a review of your medical history, and a telemedicine appointment with one of our providers.

What is the ongoing cost?

Monthly BHRT costs $199 and includes the cost of medications.

Do I have to inject myself?

If prescribed an injectable form of BHRT, yes, but we'll teach you. BHRT generally involves once weekly intramuscular injections.

BHRT can also be administered topically via once-daily creams.

Will I experience side effects?

When administered as prescribed and through ongoing monitoring of blood hormone levels, side effects are generally uncommon. Side effects can include pain and redness at the injection site, changes in sexual function, and increases in blood thickness and blood pressure.

How do I receive my medication?

Your medications will be compounded at one of our partner pharmacies and shipped directly to your door. All supplies are included with each shipment. 

How long does it take to receive my medication?

Our partner pharmacies currently estimate a 7-10 business day turnaround. Once complete, medication is shipped overnight via UPS.
